Six items you can donate to animal shelters
Here are six things you have that animal shelters typically need! Give your local rescue or vet clinic a call to see if they take these items!
Paper grocery bags
Old bedding, sheets, pillow cases (without huge rips, but too used to donate to places like thrift shops or homeless shelters)
Cardboard trays and box tops
Old towels, same criteria as the bedding
Newspapers
Empty paper towel/toilet paper rolls
Before you throw it out, check if a nearby shelter could use it. These simple items might not seem like much, but they can go a long way in helping animals stay clean, warm, and comfortable. Give your local shelter, rescue, or vet clinic a quick call. They’ll thank you, and so will the animals.
